Astrid & Her Amazing “Random Events, Conversations, and Pictures” – Adventure
A friend of the house, named Chris, came over for a visit. He was first sitting in the lounge, but then came over to the kitchen where Astrid was at that time. He started looking for “something” and Astrid offered to help him find that what he was looking for. So Chris started describing what he needed and Astrid thought she knew exactly what he needed. So Astrid opened one of the cupboards and, with pride for solving the little riddle, handed him a rolling-pin. She was slightly off though, coz what he was actually looking for was a washing-cloth!
Richard, Tom, and Astrid love to keep themselves occupied by playing little games around the house, so when Astrid went out shopping, Richard set her out on a mission: “Buy me a nice surprise which would cost you less than 50 Pence.” So Astrid was in the store looking around for the perfect gift when her eye caught a little jar of baby-food which argued it was a dessert containing blueberry and apple. Astrid then remembered Richard’s request to bake him a cranberry-apple-pie for his birthday, so Astrid thought this might just be the perfect surprise for him, as it was a dessert containing apples and berries as well. The surprise was well-received and placed in the refrigerator. Then housemate Tom came home and uttered the following phrase to Richard and Astrid: “I opened the door of the refrigerator, saw baby-food, and somehow I WASN'T even surprised!”
Astrid works for LEGO and helps people with all sorts of LEGO-related questions, from people wondering about the safety of building houses of LEGO for hamsters to the amount of bricks necessary to built a LEGO - tower to the moon! Astrid’s colleagues are daily challenged by the same sort of questions and one day Astrid’s colleague Kajsa was posed the following question:
“One of my DUPLO figures has loose arms, what can I do?”
So Kajsa turned to Astrid and asked her: “What do I tell this lady? To buy the DUPLO hospital as well?”

This weekend Astrid went out clubbing.
Expected conversation:
Bouncer: “Hello there, can I see your ID?”
Actual conversation:
Bouncer: “Hello there, where is your bike?”
Apparently, the bouncer sees Astrid passing by on her bike every morning when she goes to work.
When Astrid went to buy her ticket in, she raised her finger, meaning she wanted one ticket. The lady at the check-out then showed Astrid three fingers, and Astrid shaked her head, and again showed her one finger. Then the lady at the check-out shaked her head and again revealed three fingers. Apparently, the ticket price for one girly girl was three Pounds!
