Astrid & Her Amazing "Is there a doctor in the room?"- Adventure



“Astrid, you’ve got beautiful eyes,” now that’s a phrase Astrid has heard before. However, the phrase “Astrid, you’ve got beautiful eyes, I wanna kiss them and BITE THEM all over as often as I can” was rather new to her.



So Astrid was in the Czech Republic, where the people also sleep and snore at night, and one morning Astrid woke up and attempted to open both of her eyes, but sadly, she could only open one of them. A wild mosquito who went by the name of "Bramborová Polévka" [potato soup] had bitten her severely all around her favorite eye.

The result: Astrid sat in front of the telly with ice-cubes on her eye for the entire morning and then with a less swollen eye went to see a major amount of fire-fighters struggling in a competition!!! Yes, she still had a shortage of eyes.



Don’t think that was the only “injury,” Astrid experienced in the Czech Republic, no. She also managed to cut her finger severely...



The amazing Astrid just loved the electric bread-slicer. Oh, you want bread, can I PLEASE slice it for you? Slicing loafs of bread was a lot of fun for Astrid, and remained fun, even though it nearly resulted in the cut off of Astrid’s right index-finger. Anyone in for a finger-sandwich today? Did I mention it’s the SPECIALTY of the house!?!?!?

    Wow you have a favorite eye too? Thought it was just me. I'm wearing a cone right now cause I scratched my favorite eye. Glad you have enough restraint to not scratch your itchy eye; that way the doctor won't have to prescribe a cone for you to wear over your head when people leave you alone in the yard.

    I want some bread! But maybe just tear a hunk off for me instead of using that cool tool. Glad you still have all your fingers; sometimes the most dangerous things can be the most fun. That's what my sidekick always says.

    I guess it was to many carbs in the bread and you were just adding a bit of protein to the mix.

    Did you go bite the mosquito back? That is quite the adventure in the czech republic! :P I hope you did not get frost bite on your eye too from the ice cubes!!! :O
