Astrid & Her Amazing Name-Tag Adventure
Today, Astrid was at work when a man and a woman showed up in front of her.
Apparently, they had just finished work and their name-tags said that the man was named “Danny” and the woman “Sandra.”
Astrid felt an enormous urge to greet them with their first name.
“Hi Danny, hi Sandra,” it would have sounded and enthusiastically they could have replied “hi Astrid” for after all, Astrid was wearing a name-badge as well.
Now she is thinking what a funny occurrence it would be when everyone around her would wear a name-tag. And wouldn’t it be extremely cool to swap name-tags now and then?

That would be interetsing, like we were all at some huge, never-ending meeting with our big "Hello, My Name Is" nametags so we could all get to know each other just a little better.

I would switch name tags with Astrid just for a day so everyone in the world would think that I'm uber cool!!

That would definitely be helpful. Especially when you meet someone in the street who knows you but you can't remember their name so just have to pretend you know who they are!

Yes, that would be VERY HELPFUL. Just the other day I saw a lady I knew and she hollered my name and I had to call a friend and ask her to remind me of the lady's name but I'm pretty sure she knew what I was doing and I didn't get away with it.
Very embarrassing. If she had been wearing a name tag it all would have been ok. Grah.

It also makes it easier to imagine romantic adventures when being served if you know the person's name.

I love name tags. It makes it so much easier when you forget someones name or you are in a large group.

After attending a class reunion this summer, I came the the same conclusion that everyone should wear nametags. We should start a movement.
